CHAIR

Professor Benjamin Gidron
Prof. Gidron directs the Israeli Social Enterprise Research Center at Beit Berl College. He is a professor emeritus at Ben-Gurion University, where he established and directed the Israeli Center for Third-Sector Research for 12 years. He has developed professional development programs for managers in the third sector and has worked in research and teaching in Israel and internationally in third sector studies for the past 25 years.


MEMBERS

Yiphat Geva-Ragoler
Entrepreneur, group facilitator, founder and former manager of the organization Kishurei Imahot (Mothers' Connections), has vast experience in advancement of women's social business development. Manager of MaAgadim Iskiim Project (Business Consortiums) in the Galil region- a combined project between the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor, the Lev Hagalil Business Development Center and the Misgav Regional Council.

Tammy Krook
Tammy has her Masters in Social Work. She works independently as a group facilitator and as a social worker in rehabilitation. Involved with the agency since 2005, and active in women's economic empowerment since 2004.


Marina Savitsky
Marina has her Master's degree in Education and Foreign Languages. She is an entrepreneur and the owner of her own business; a flower store in Jerusalem. She is a graduate of Supportive Community and has been volunteering with us for many years.

Ela Shbashkevitch
Ela has her Master's degree in food engineering and economics. She coordinated the absorption department for new immigrants in the Ramle municipality. She has been collaborating with Supportive Community since 2006.

Mali Shemer
Mali has her Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science and a Master's degree in Educational Counseling. She is a personal trainer, and has been involved in Supportive Community’s activities since 2005. She had previously been a board member for two years, after which she joined our facilitator’s staff. Mali has now returned to our board for the second time.

Jenny Kupermann
Jenny has been involved with Supportive Community since 2008. She has a Master's degree in German Linguistics. She is an artist with her own gallery and business where she sales her beautiful glass art and designs; www.jennyk.co.il . She is married with three children.

Vera Rislik
Vera has a Master's degree in Food Engineering and she is currently pursuing a degree in Economics. She has worked as an accountant for the past 15 years, and she has been an active member in Supportive Community since its establishment.
