Surprises in Lod
“Real business can only be developed in a diverse group!”

The first introductory meeting in Lod (Central Israel) for Ethiopian women who want to open their own micro business (as part of our efforts to support businesses development within different social and ethnic groups) was attended by 10 Ethiopian women entrepreneurs.

“We would be happy to recommend the program to our friends too” said the women at the meeting. The big surprise came a week later when a great many of their friends did come,
and not only from within the Ethiopian community! (Who else?) We were extremely pleased. Whoever said we are not born with a natural multi-cultural approach?

During the most recent group meeting Rachel, an elderly Ethiopian woman said:
“Real business can only be developed in a diverse group”, and so it is!
